Chênes

This cuvée is the second wine of Saint Louis made from grapes from the estate’s gravelly parcels. Pinot Saint Georges (Négrette), Cabernet Franc and Gamay make up this well-opened wine on red fruits and spices, pleasing in its suppleness and melted tannins. The classic winemaking of this cuvée begins with long maceration with délestages. Each grape variety is vinified separately with selected yeast and temperature control. Added sulfite is kept to a minimum. No other allergens are added, nor sizing. The age is carried out for 30% in oak barrels and 70% in vats for 6 to 12 months.
