Naturellement Négrette

Negrette (or Pinot Saint Georges), a traditional Fronton grape variety, makes up 100% of this fresh, delicate cuvée.

The vinification of this cuvée, as well as the 12-month ageing period, were carried out entirely in vats to reveal the best possible expression of Negrette: a subtle alliance of red fruit, floral violet notes, liquorice and spices.

CEPAGES
100% Pinot Saint Georges (Négrette)

TERROIR
Area: 54 ha (including vineyard: 27hectares)
Vine age: 35 years, on average.
Boulbène and sandy loam on the surface and clay-non-limestone at depth.

VINIFICATION
Vinification is classic, with long maceration and two or three délestages. The wine is aged in concrete vats for 12 months to preserve the freshness of the fruit and the expressiveness of the floral notes. Bottling takes place at the Château.

DEGUSTATION
Bright garnet color, raspberry highlights. Harmonious nose, light aromas of violet, cherry, morello cherry and blackberry. Supple, light mouthfeel, acidic, slightly mineral, good intensity.
